Day 1: Arrival San Jose, Costa Rica

Day 2: Poas Crater / Waterfalls
In the morning we will visit the Poas crater. The crater measures 1.5 kilometers in diameter (0.9 miles) and is 300 meters deep (900 feet). At the bottom of this prehistoric-looking hole, there is a medium sized lagoon that spews boiling sulphurous gases.
In the afternoon you will experience lush tropical Rain Forests, flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies and flowers at La Paz Waterfall Gardens. There are five waterfalls and one of them is the most photographed waterfall in all of Costa Rica.

Day 3: Arenal Volcano
Today we drive to la Fortuna to see the active Arenal Volcano from a Sky Tram. Sky Tram is a high technology cableway that goes through the surroundings of the Arenal Volcano, with great views of the Arenal Lake. The Sky tram ends in a wide observation platform on the highest point of the Arenal Reserve, where you can seat down on comfortable chairs to enjoy the view. Once you get to the observation platform you can enjoy a walk through one of the paths which takes around 30 minutes.

In the evening we will pay a visit to the tabacon hot springs. Here you can relax in the thermo-mineral river which flows through exotic tropical gardens, forming natural waterfalls and river pools. You might even be able to see the lava coming down from the volcano while you are relaxing in the hot springs.

Accommodation at hotel Lomas del Volcan. All bungalows have volcano views where you can enjoy the breathtaking view while sitting on your balcony amidst the rainforest.


Day 4: Monteverde
Today we drive around Lake Arenal to Monteverde. Here we will experience the tree top walkway, which is a 1.9 mile (approximately 3 kilometer) trail that crosses through the cloud forest, in which our visitors will walk through eight different bridges from various lengths ranging between 150 feet (50 meters) up to 510 feet (170 meters) and altitudes ranging between 36 feet (12 meters) up to 180 feet (60 meters).

Also, we will visit a butterfly garden and we will see a reptile and amphibian Exhibition where you will find frogs, lizards, geckos, snakes and many other specimens from more than 30 species.

Day 5,6: Manuel Antonio
These days you can take your time to relax at the beach, the hotel spa or take a dive in one of the swimming pools.

Day 7: Tarcoles River
Today we will go for a boat ride on the Tarcoles River, home to one of the world’s largest crocodile populations in the wild with individuals up to fifteen feet long. In addition to the crocodiles, over fifty different kinds of birds can be seen on site, including the very rare scarlet macaw and a great variety of resident and migrant waterfowl. Iguanas and Jesus Cristo lizards are very common as well.
In the afternoon we drive back to San Jose.

Day 8: San José
Transfer to international airport
